Project design
The corridor is fitted with a cloakroom with space for outerwear, a large, well-equipped catering kitchen, and two toilets, one of which is accessible. The internal glass doors are fitted with safety glass. All rooms are fitted with LED lighting.
The rooms are bright and welcoming, with good natural light from the large window sections. The ceilings are clad with wood wool cement boards, providing good acoustics. The floors are finished with hard-wearing linoleum in the common rooms and black vinyl with a granite look in the toilets.
The building is heated via water-based radiators connected to an air-to-water heat pump. The building is prepared for the installation of both solar PV and solar thermal modules should the heating method be changed at a later date. Externally, the building is clad with black-painted profiled boards and black roofing felt.
