Hotel building for Severin Conference Centre
Room wing with 18 functional rooms
The course centre’s accommodation building is constructed from 18 custom-designed modules across two storeys, with nine modules on each floor. The modules comprise a total of 18 functional rooms and a corridor on each floor. Each 18 m² room has separate toilet and shower facilities of 3 m², built as a prefabricated bathroom with a steel frame.

Project structure
Internally, the building is constructed using carefully selected, healthy materials that provide a good indoor climate. The ceilings are clad with wood wool cement boards, which provide good acoustics, and the large double windows in each room, as well as LED light fittings in the corridor areas, contribute to the building’s excellent lighting conditions.
The building is heated with hydronic underfloor heating connected to the conference centre’s existing heat supply. The rooms are ventilated via decentralised units with heat recovery.
Externally, the building is clad in untreated Thermo pine with zinc flashings. The roof is finished with roofing felt and has a solar PV system producing 7,000 kWh installed.
