Gødvad School is being expanded with new classrooms
Silkeborg Municipality is undergoing rapid development, which creates a need for more space for children and young people.
Gødvad School in Silkeborg is therefore being expanded with four new classrooms and a group room. The construction is being carried out using modules from Concept Living.
When the pupils return to Gødvad School after the autumn break, they will be welcomed by a new school building of 565 m3, built in permanent, timber-based modules. A deliberate choice to ensure a construction period of only five months.
A deliberate choice to build with modules
The modules are produced in dry production halls, which helps reduce dust and noise nuisance at Gødvad School, while the construction method ensures an efficient building process. Michael Nielsen from Sweco Denmark, who is the client adviser on the project, can attest to this:

More pupil places for Silkeborg Municipality

In August, the project was in full swing being assembled and was completed by the end of September, when the pupils return after the autumn break.
